  2. Hey there!

We're the Creatives behind Until They Turn 18 (UTT18)

This film endeavors to shed light on existing problems and the need to remedy them. Hope prevails when the appropriate help is administered. Special light will be shed on the work of Hibiscus Children's Center. The focused attention and targeted programming administered by this organization provides foster teens existing on the fringe, specifically those 16 - 18 years old, with an opportunity to succeed.

Remember, if a child is in foster care . . . they are a part of the existing system. Just as important, "Until They Turn 18" demonstrates that these young people are not falling off a cliff . . . they are desperately clinging to the edge of survival.

UTT18 is not a film intended to entertain the general audience, but instead it is to inform and hopefully rally communities across the United States to unite behind organizations, such as Hibiscus Children's Center, and to support programs like Hibiscus's Career Pathways to Independence. Satya Media Group, Hibiscus Children's Center and the UTT18 team, came together to launch of a very important 'CAUSE' for all communities across our beloved Nation. These teenagers are our future. They will be making decisions in 20 years based on the situations they must face and endure today. And I feel we cannot ignore this call for help!

Most of us have had a supervisor, a boss or coach who has made a positive difference in our lives. Those people wore many hats. They acted as, delegators, role models, cheerleaders, policy enforcers, advocates, and friends. As a mentor you will wear these same hats. Mentors understand the need to assume a number of different roles during the course of a mentoring relationship, but successful mentors also share the same basic qualities:
